The Birth of
Life in the Light Ministries
In July 2001 Life in the Light Christian Counselling Centre was birthed under the leadership of Jenni Searle as a service to God’s hurting children. Over the years and under the spiritual cover of Revival Centre Ministries, Bulawayo, Zimbabwe many people have been led to a place of healing and wholeness in Jesus Christ.
In 2011 we felt, however, that the Lord was prompting us to open the ministry up to the wider body of Christ in our city. This led to the material being compiled and fine-tuned before embarking on an open invitation for interested parties to sign up. Since 2012 we have trained a total of one hundred and forty eight people from twenty Churches. And so, by the grace of God, we now stand on the threshold of a new season of healing and restoration that will grow from strength to strength in Bulawayo and beyond.

The Journey to
Wholeness
As the ministry has grown, we have come to recognise that we are not counsellors in the traditional sense. Rather, we serve as facilitators—allowing the Holy Spirit to guide and gently lead people back to the truth of God’s Word.
We help clients understand what the Bible says about the physical, emotional, and spiritual challenges they face each day.
Through prayer, we lead them to the cross—laying down what is not of the Lord and receiving the healing, truth, and freedom He offers.
At Life in the Light Ministries, we draw on a range of trusted counselling and discipleship approaches, together with an understanding of the unique pressures faced within our local context.
Grounded in the Word of God and led by the Holy Spirit, we walk alongside each person on their journey toward wholeness.
